Sandy Toes & Salty Kisses

Celebrating our anniversary at Saint Simons Island, GA. The forecast was scattered thunderstorms everyday but despite that gloom and doom report, it only rained the first two days. Thankfully!

During our stay in Ocean Lodge, we were fortunate enough to book the Cumberland Room, which exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable, boasting a modern yet cozy ambiance. Unfortunately, I had filmed a room tour but regrettably lost the footage, missing the opportunity to showcase its beauty. The Cumberland Room featured one bedroom, two full baths, a well-equipped kitchen, a stylish living area, and a lovely balcony where we could relax and enjoy the ocean views.

One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast included in our reservation. The selection was varied and delicious, providing a great start to our days of relaxation and exploration. Additionally, the staff at Ocean Lodge were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist us with any requests or questions we had during our stay.

To celebrate our anniversary, we decided to dine at our favorite restaurant, BoneFish Grill. The evening was perfect as we enjoyed the romantic atmosphere and fantastic service. I decided to be adventurous and ordered the Swordfish, a dish I had never tried before. To complement my meal, I also indulged in the pumpkin stuffed ravioli, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. As always, BoneFish Grill delivered exceptional food quality and flavors, making our anniversary dinner truly memorable. Our dining experience at BoneFish Grill never disappoints, and we look forward to returning in the future for more delicious meals and special occasions.

Saint Simons has really awesome trees. The scenery was so tranquil after the rain. We enjoyed the mild/ humid weather and had a very chill and relaxing stay.
