Sewing darts is a technique used in garment construction to create shape and structure. Darts are folded fabric that are stitched down to create a tailored look and to help the garment fit the body better. To sew darts, you will need to mark the dart placement on your fabric, fold the fabric along the marked lines, and then stitch along the folded edge to secure the dart in place. Darts can be found on many types of garments, such as skirts, pants, dresses, and blouses, and are a great way to add a professional touch to your sewing projects.
